Sandrene Diana Morton was born on the island of St.Kitts, West Indies, to Joycelyn Philip and Otis Harvey. Growing up with her brother, Glenroy Phillip, Sandrene was known to be a caretaker to many family members at an early age. At the age of 13, she committed her life to Christ in full surrender. From that moment on, Sandrene devoted her time, talents, and treasures to serving Christ and His church.
She graduated from Basseterre High School in St.Kitts. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from the University of the Virgin Islands in St.Thomas, USVI, and served as a registered nurse for nearly 3 decades! She participated in many seminars, conferences, and in-services to remain current and competitive in her field. Her most recent assignment was MDS Coordinator, where she served as chairman of the care plan meetings.
Sandrene was the faithful wife of Terrence Morton for 32 years and raised three children, while they both pursued demanding careers.
Beyond her secular achievements, Sandrene invested heavily in many spiritual endeavors, both locally and internationally. Her strength was serving and praying quietly in the background. However, she did not shy away from opportunities to serve in more conspicuous settings. She was a small group leader among many other capacities in which she served, ranging from the soup kitchen to lead singer on the worship team. Sandrene lived a life of devotion. Beginning in her local church as a youth leader, she faithfully served in various ministries at churches in St.Kitts, as well as St. Thomas, USVI, Nashville, Tennessee, and Virginia.
Within every church home, Sandrene enjoyed using her gifts of singing, praying, and teaching the scriptures.
